(wellness for everyone)
When we believe a person is at fault for abusive behvior and they are not willing to be accountable, we have an extremely important decision to make. We can't force others to change their behavior nor make them act like responsible adults. And sometimes we get into these gray areas where - while we don't want to enable undesirable behavior - the infraction of which they are guilty does not rise to the level of being egregious. And so we must ask ourselves; is this error on their part worth my removing them from my life? And if I must interact with them - like a remote peer at work - should I reduce that communication to that which is absolutely necessary and nothing more?
